The application is tailored for individuals currently in treatment or awaiting treatment for substance use or mental health disorders. TetherAll facilitates real-time digital check-ins, establishing a connection between patients and their healthcare team during the interim periods between visits. TetherAll aims to enhance engagement in treatment, enabling healthcare professionals to monitor behaviors and potential signs of relapse, while providing additional support to patients. Enrollment in TetherAll must be initiated by a healthcare provider, clinician, or recovery coach.

How It Works:

• Patients receive notification prompts to complete a confidential check-in. This involves a self-reported evaluation of their mood, emotions, and symptoms, aiding in the recognition and accountability of their daily behavior patterns and risk factors.
• An optional diary entry can be added to each submission, allowing patients to compose a personal note through typing or voice dictation at every check-in.
• Badges and rewards can be earned for fulfilling task-based or time-based activities.

Patient-provided data, journal entries, and other information captured by this app are scrutinized by authorized healthcare professionals to evaluate signs and symptoms of relapse, improving chances of early intervention and reinforcement of treatment strategies.
